I have to say I was a huge fan of the Flashdance look in the 80's--the sweatshirt with the ripped out neck slipping down over the shoulder to expose a white undershirt.
The Vince gold metallic cashmere sweater ($295) is a sophisticated remake of this look. I love it worn belted with leggings or pencil jeans.I think it looks best worn a bit loose and large. Available from Bloomingdales and shopbop.com.
